.@michaelgove is right.

@AngelaRayner made freeing leaseholders her battle from the backbenches, pushing back against the overly cautious, legalistic Starmer leadership.

Now, she can finish the job 👇

Healey famously wrote to the last Tory government in October 2018 that its “proposals for leasehold reform are too slow, too weak and overlook existing leaseholders.

Exactly the same could be said of the Starmer government.

Good to have a pro-leaseholder Chancellor at last!

NLC - KATIE KENDRICK OBE - LEASEHOLD CAMPAIGNER @NLC_2019

Congratulations. We are delighted that @mtpennycook will remain in post and now attend Cabinet 🚨

Leasehold reform needs continuity to deliver the change leaseholders need.

Working with @AngelaRayner they are both committed to deliver for Leaseholders.
