Homeowners will receive more rights, power and protections over their homes under the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act which has become law today.

Healey famously wrote to the last Tory government in October 2018 that its “proposals for leasehold reform are too slow, too weak and overlook existing leaseholders”.

Exactly the same could be said of the Starmer government.

Good to have a pro-leaseholder Chancellor at last!
