Service charges are ruining lives and fuelling the housing crisis.

Starmer’s answer?

Scrap the promised Law Commission reforms that would put homeowners in control of service charges, while protecting money-for-nothing ground rents until 2068.

Painful.

By U-turning on a manifesto promise to end the leasehold scam, @Keir_Starmer is pushing “Own Nothing and Be Happy”.

We reject this weak, lobbyist-friendly Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill.

Government must revive the remaining Law Commission enfranchisement and RTM reforms.
